Brandon Fitchett has been leading wind energy R&D at EPRI since 2016, providing innovative technology evaluation and balanced, science-based strategies to support long-term development and management of renewable power plants. These strategies include optimizing reliability, performance, cost, and operations & maintenance.
Before joining EPRI, Brandon held engineering management positions at two wind turbine OEMs in design and operations engineering roles. Prior to entering the wind industry in 2007, Brandon worked in aerial drone R&D and on-orbit satellite operations.
Brandon holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland.
